Australian Futsal Association Named Best Club at the Costa Blanca Cup Futsal 2026
The Australian club topped the overall club standings. Colegio Santa Susana claimed the Girls U12 title, while Racing San Gabriel ADC won the Open Women’s category
Australian Futsal Association has been crowned the overall champion club of the Costa Blanca Cup Futsal 2026. The Australian side claimed the Overall Club Trophy, awarded to the club with the highest combined points from all its participating teams, succeeding Taiwan’s Rui Xang High School, winners of the award in 2025.
The third day of the international youth futsal tournament saw several women’s divisions decided, with the Girls U12 and Open Women’s finals taking place. Only the Girls U16 final remains, which will be played on Sunday alongside all the boys’ championship matches.
In the Girls U12 category, the final featured Australian Futsal Association and Colegio Santa Susana, with the Madrid-based side securing a 2–0 victory. Sofía Sisniega was named the Girls U12 MVP.
In the Open Women’s division, Racing San Gabriel ADC defeated England’s Haringey Girls 8–3 in the final. Julia Vila received the MVP award for the match.
The only women’s title still to be decided is the Girls U16 championship, where Canada’s Éverest-Rimouski will face Venezuela Futsal Cup. Despite that final still to come, Australian Futsal Association had already secured enough points to celebrate being named the tournament’s Overall Club Champion.
All the boys’ divisions will be decided on Sunday, when the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19 finals are played. In addition to the age-group champions, the tournament will also crown the club that succeeds CDE Pinar de Alcorcón as the overall boys’ club champion.
Throughout the week, more than 200 futsal matches have been played across venues in Benidorm, Calpe, Altea, Villajoyosa and L’Alfàs del Pi.
This year’s Costa Blanca Cup Futsal brought together 113 teams (57 international and 56 Spanish) from nine countries: France, England, Ireland and Spain in Europe; Canada, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela in the Americas; and Australia in Oceania. One week later, the Costa Blanca Cup Football tournament will get underway with 206 teams competing, including 117 international sides and 89 teams from across Spain.
The tournament receives institutional support from the municipalities of Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Altea, L’Alfàs del Pi and Calpe, as well as sponsors and partners including Aqualandia, Terra Mítica, Kappa, Futbol Factory and Sala Marina.
